Some memories from the summer…

Last summer my dear daughter got married and her wedding dress was designed together and made by me…

The colour theme in wedding was pink… and my son wanted his suit in right colour, so here it is mummy made pink suit!

Return to Finland

My volunteering in Myanmar has ended and I have returned home in Finland. I was working six months as a textile designer and adviser in Yangon. I still have contacts in Myanmar and I am eager to cooperate with them again. However right  now I am working in Finland and I am free to meet customers and start with new projects in here. yangon

Wiula Design is cooperating with Amara Khit

Wiula Design is cooperating with Amara Khit Fashion & Textile in Myanmar. AmaraKhit is a home fashion brand working with traditional and ethnic textile manufacturers. The company is a socially driven venture using textiles as an empowering initiative for ethnic women. I am designing with Amara Khit hand woven home textiles with natural dyes and traditional patterns and renewing them to meet international trends in home textile market. In Heimtextil 2015 in Frankfurt 14.-17.01 I will have some samples of Amara Khits products with me in our stand 4.2 H40 with Studio Hilla. Contact me (Tuula) to make an appointment to our stand or to ask more about these unique textiles. Visit to read more about Amara Khit.
